As an Accredited Agency to the Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission (ACIC), we are required to retain identity documents for a minimum of 12 months, and no more than 15 months after the Police Check result has been finalised.

However, you do have a right to request your police check certificate be permanently destroyed after 90 days.
