The purpose of your WorkPro ID is to reduce repetition and double-handling and to keep all of your important employment information centrally.
Once you have a WorkPro profile, it means you do not need to keep entering the same information, completing the same application forms, checks, uploading identity documents and accreditations and employment related licences and tickets or completing eLearning modules.
You are in complete control of your WorkPro ID and it is unique to you.
If you have completed a process in WorkPro and you provide your WorkPro ID to another company that uses WorkPro, they can see the following:
- Licences and Tickets that you have uploaded to track expiries.
- Completed and current WorkPro eLearning modules.
- If you are an Australian citizen, evidence of your citizenship
A company cannot see:
- A completed police check or any other background or probity check that has been paid for by a company
- Outcome of a reference check
- Any learning module that is specific to a company that you may have completed
- If you are a non-Australian citizen, the outcome of a work rights check.
If a company requires you to complete a background check and paid for that check, you will receive a request including a unique Token. Log in to your WorkPro profile and enter that unique Token. You will be able to review your personal information, re-upload any necessary identity documents, and provide informed consent for that company to submit that check.
If you paid for your own police check, that is your property.
